Services & Care

Support shaped around each person

Avelia serves adults 55 and older, and no two residents have the same needs, so no two care plans look the same. One person needs a hand with buttons. Another needs a ride to work and someone to cheer at their softball game. Another is protecting a hard-won recovery. These are the supports everyone can draw on, in whatever measure fits.

24/7 residential support

Trained caregivers are on site day and night. Families sleep better knowing someone here is awake.

Personal care & daily living

Respectful help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and routines. As much or as little as each resident needs.

Medication management

Medications given on schedule by trained staff, with careful records and coordination with prescribers.

Behavior support

A written behavior plan for each resident: what sets them off, what helps, and how staff respond. Followed the same way on every shift.

Substance use recovery support

A household that protects sobriety. Rides to meetings and appointments, coordination with treatment providers, and full, structured days in between.

Meals & nutrition

Home-cooked meals shared at one table, planned around dietary needs. Residents are always welcome in the kitchen.

Life-skills building

Cooking, laundry, budgeting, self-advocacy. Practical skills practiced daily, matched to each resident's goals.

Community access

Transportation and support for day programs, work, appointments, errands, and worship.

How a resident joins us

  1. 1

    Reach out

Call or send us a message. Family members, guardians, and case managers are all welcome. We'll talk through needs, funding, and fit.

  2. 2

    Visit the home

Tour the house, meet the staff, ask anything. We encourage the future resident to visit more than once and get comfortable.

  3. 3

    Move in, gently

We build an individualized care plan with the resident, their family, and their care team. Then we take the move at their pace.
